| WWOOOOWWWWW!!!!!! |
Recently, I came upon this problem when I began to get serious about my health. I started working out everyday and before I knew, my hair was being washed constantly. Many people in the hair community feel that sweating messes up their hairdo's (obviously), so they avoid sweating at all costs! However, mother nature always gets her way, so she sends another sweat inducing crisis upon us....HOT WEATHER!
There are many states that are under heat advisories causing people, especially those with straightened hair running for cover. For some of us, this problem is a no brainer, bare the weather/work out and just do a co-wash later. But what about those who wear weaves and do not have the expertise to watch their hair themselves. Or those with heat straightened hair just waiting to curl the moment it hits moisture, either from the humidity or from your pores. Relaxed (creamy-crack) ladies, once myself, are walking as slow as comfortably possible in order to avoid ruining a fresh blow-out or touch up with their hair. SO WHAT IS A GIRL 2 DO?
Unfortunately, it just seems that most of us are just going to have to bear it! What are your thoughts, how far would you and do you go to avoid ruining your hair?
